PERSONAL PROJECT

The purpose of this project was to push the power of type by exploring elements of design. Each letter and number served as the inspiration behind its respective concept. Whether it was a play on words, a pop culture reference, or even just the first word that came to mind, the idea was to create type as image. I wanted each piece to be conceptually and stylistically different to evoke a range of emotions.

As the sole designer, my role was to create concepts for each piece from scratch. I also illustrated, designed, styled, photographed, and/or retouched each of the images.
