10. This cake reminds me of a colorful pleated sari. An abstract version, which for me is much more successful. Who said you can't have an elegant and colorful cake? The trick is picking the right color palette with the right saturations of said colors. Going with slightly muted tones always helps.

11. Surprise! Bonus cake

How do I have a cake post without showing our wedding cake?! Thanks to our friends we had a lovely hand-painted elephant cake topper from India. We also got a ton of mini cupcakes because we couldn't decide on one flavor ;) Cake + cupcakes by: Nutmeg Cake Design. Vault + Vine added pops of color with pretty flowers and there you had it!
