The brief for Corona's Innovation Conference was to help with 3 main areas:
1- Create an iconic summer pack for a Surf campaign.
2- Highlight the Corona + Lime relationship on packaging.
3- Make the canned version of Corona more desirable (The can is less popular than the bottle because it doesn’t seem as refreshing).
For Surf, I created a bold repeating wave pattern to celebrate the fun occasion.
To highlight the Corona + Lime relationship, I used time and sequence to create a playful illustration on the secondary. To push the idea further and reinforce the message of 'getting the lime in the Corona', I applied the concept to the game of Corn Hole.
Lastly, my solution for the Corona can was to highlight the iconic bottle by juxtaposing it directly on the can along with a lime wedge. After all, it's the same beer anyway!
