Visual Identity

Suri (meaning ‘sun’ and ‘sage’ in Sanskrit) is a new-to-world brand that encourages children to imagine, learn, and discover more about the Hindu culture. The brand was created with the purpose of helping parents teach and engage their children through a series of playing cards. While most depictions of Hindu idols are very serious and ornate, I wanted to create a simple, yet playful, cut-paper style for the brand that felt like it was meant for children. The scope for this project ranged from the branding, packaging, illustration, and art direction for product photography.



As sole designer across every touchpoint, my role was to develop a strategy and design concepts to build a cohesive and compelling visual brand story.
